For you folks looking forward to the new Legendary Battles print-n-play board games, a little sneak peek is now available in the Free Downloads section. It is one-quarter of the map for the first release. A jungle affair complete with thatch huts and rice paddies, it gives a nice feel for the style and quality of the maps that will come with the games.

The complete map, game counters/unit markers and scenario summaries for at least two different scenarios will come with every game. All you need to provide is an appropriate Combat or Fantasy Cards deck for each player and you will be ready to go!

Jungles with rice paddies you say – hmm, what could the first game be about…

We have just posted in the Free Downloads section a full color patterned page that can be used to put a matching backside to either your Combat or Fantasy Cards. It is designed to allow you to just print it on the back of the card sheet (before you cut the cards apart) without worrying about aligning anything to the front of the cards.

The pattern is specifically design to be so visually confusing so as to make reading “marked” cards nearly impossible and yet still look nice (try it and you will see what we mean).

The back side is strictly an option for folks who want to do it (we have had quite a few requests!), and in no way affects the use of either set of cards during a game. It is simply intended to increase the coolness factor of your battles!
